Fill

Fill base with fresh water (filtered or bottled for best results) up to the safety valve. Pro tip: use hot, pre-boiled water to help avoid a bitter taste from “cooking” the grounds during brewing.

Load

Load basket with ground coffee (medium-fine grind is best; avoid espresso-fine grounds). Ensure coffee is level but not compacted. Then place basket in base.

Assemble

Clear any grounds from threads around the pot. Screw top half to the base and tighten until firmly together.

Brew

Place on electric, induction, or gas burner and brew over medium to medium-low heat. When you hear a gurgling sound, remove from heat.

Enjoy

Carefully run the base of the moka pot under cool water to stop the brewing process. Pour and enjoy!
